Alan Parsons Project<\/p><\/div>\n

The Alan Parsons Project fue un grupo brit\u00e1nico de rock progresivo formado en 1975. Estaba liderado por Alan Parsons, Eric Woolfson y en \u00e9l participaron varias alineaciones de m\u00fasicos, as\u00ed como el arreglista y director de orquesta Andrew Powell.<\/p>\n

Cada uno aportaba su granito de arena al grupo: Alan Parsons como productor, ingeniero y compositor; Eric Woolfson como productor ejecutivo, compositor y vocalista; y Andrew Powell como orquestador y arreglista. Adem\u00e1s se rodearon de una serie de m\u00fasicos y vocalistas para cada uno de sus proyectos entre los que se encontraban como m\u00fasicos Ian Bairnson, David Paton o Stuart Elliot y como vocalistas el propio Eric Woolfson, Lenny Zakatek, John Miles, Chris Rainbow o Colin Blunstone entre muchos otros.<\/p>\n

Lanzaron varios discos con un gran cuidado en la producci\u00f3n y creatividad como: Tales of Mystery and Imagination, I Robot, The Turn of a Friendly Card o Eye in the Sky; y donde se destacan temas como: \u00abDon’t Let It Show\u00bb, \u00abTime\u00bb, \u00abEye in the Sky\u00bb, \u00abSilence & I\u00bb u \u00abOld And Wise\u00bb.<\/p>\n

A finales de los 80, Eric Woolfson abandon\u00f3 el grupo para dedicarse a componer para musicales de teatro, sin embargo volvieron a reunirse moment\u00e1neamente con el breve proyecto Freudiana. Alan Parsons ha seguido creando nuevos temas pero firmando con su nombre (sin el Project), debido a problemas con la parte de los derechos que manten\u00eda Woolfson sobre el nombre del grupo. Actualmente en sus giras vuelve a rescatar el nombre original, con permiso de Eric, denomin\u00e1ndose Alan Parsons Live Project.<\/p>\n

En los a\u00f1os 2004-2005, Alan Parsons Live Project hizo una gira mundial para dar a conocer sus \u00faltimos proyectos y recordar los \u00e9xitos de siempre, consiguiendo el \u00ablleno\u00bb all\u00e1 donde iba.<\/p>\n

El 2 de diciembre de 2009, Woolfson fallece a los 64 a\u00f1os de edad, tras una larga lucha contra el c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n
