Jeff Wayne

Jeffry “Jeff” Wayne (nacido el 1 de julio de 1943) es un compositor, músico y letrista británico naturalizado nacido en Estados Unidos. En 1978 lanzó la versión musical de Jeff Wayne de La guerra de los mundos, su adaptación musical de la novela de ciencia ficción de H. G. Wells La guerra de los mundos.

Wayne escribió aproximadamente 3.000 jingles publicitarios en la década de 1970 que aparecieron en la televisión en el Reino Unido, en particular un comercial de Gordon Gin que fue cubierto por The Human League. [No verificado en el cuerpo] Wayne también compuso numerosos temas de televisión conocidos, incluyendo Good Morning Gran Bretaña (TV-am), The Big Match y World of Sport de ITV, Sixty Minutes de la BBC, y durante 24 años, la primera estación de radio de noticias del Reino Unido, LBC.

Wayne escribió partituras de largometrajes y documentales y fue director musical de varios artistas. Wayne publicó un libro llamado The Book of Tennis y creó, produjo y anotó ocho episodios de treinta minutos de The Book of Tennis Chronicles que Fox Sports distribuyó en aproximadamente veinte países y se transmitió en los Estados Unidos por The Tennis Channel entre 2005 y 2008
